South Sound Oral Surgery is a unique practice with four board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Dr. WernerDr. Rubel Dr. Strange and Dr. Crecelius, together have a combined experience of over 75 years in dentistry and over 50 years in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

There is no other Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice between Seattle and Portland which has four highly experienced, board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons.

Dr. Werner, Dr. Rubel, Dr. Strange and Dr. Crecelius all have similar backgrounds with extensive training and experience during their careers. Together, they have served in multiple overseas deployments, Combat Support Hospitals and Level 1 Trauma Centers within the United States. They have also spent many years teaching residents in oral and maxillofacial surgery in training programs.

Dr. Werner, Dr. Rubel, Dr. Strange and Dr. Crecelius stay extensively involved in professional organizations in dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery at the State, Regional, and National levels. They maintain leadership roles with distinction and help ensure that IV sedation and general anesthesia are delivered safely in oral and maxillofacial surgery offices throughout the state. They help maintain the highest standards of safety and excellence through participation in the Office Anesthesia Evaluation program in Washington State.

Dr. Werner, Dr. Rubel, Dr. Strange and Dr. Crecelius believe in life-long learning and participate extensively in continuing education every year. This helps keep our staff current and updated on all the newest advances in the specialty.
